Privacy
This page describes what this website actually does today. It will be updated if that changes, and the date above will change with it.
What is collected
Nothing that identifies you. There are no analytics, no advertising, no tracking pixels and no third-party scripts that follow you between pages. There are no accounts, so there is nothing to sign up for and nothing stored about you.
Things you type
Some experiments ask you to type something, such as a friend's name. That text stays in your own browser, is used only to draw the page in front of you, and is never sent anywhere or stored.
Things saved on your device
A few experiments keep a high score or a timer using your browser's local storage. That information lives on your device only. It never reaches a server and nobody else can see it. Clearing your browser data removes it.
Cookies
This site does not set cookies.
The contact form
The contact form is hosted by Netlify, which runs this website. When you send a message, the name, email address and message you enter are stored by Netlify so the message can be read and answered. Nothing else is collected. Netlify's own privacy terms apply to that data.
Fonts
One typeface is loaded from Google Fonts. Loading it means your browser makes a request to Google's servers, which sees your IP address, as it does with any file loaded from another domain. No cookies are set by that request.
Links to other sites
The support link at the bottom of each page goes to PayPal. Once you follow any link off this site, that site's own privacy policy applies, not this one.
Children
This site is suitable for general audiences. It does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect personal information at all.
If advertising is added later
There is no advertising on this site at the moment. If advertising or analytics is ever added, this page will be updated first, a consent notice will be shown where the law requires one, and the change will be described here plainly rather than buried.
Your rights and how to ask
Because almost nothing is collected, there is usually nothing to request or delete. If you have sent a message through the contact form and want it removed, write to hello@boringandfunny.com and it will be deleted.
